We hit several rides that day. After waiting in line for the Haunted Mansion--and finally getting off about an hour later--we hit Pirates of the Carribean and Splash Mountain. Well, Hannah went on that one; I stayed behind and took a great photo of her coming down the waterfall. Which she wants me to burn, but it's still on my computer at home.

She even made us dinner reservations at The Blue Bayou, the Cajun style restaurant that looks over the boats headed for the waterfall in Pirates of the Carribean. So, you know, your meal punctuated by joyful screams as a boat goes down the waterfall.

But for all that, my favorite part of the night would have to be the fireworks. We had originally planned on going to Fantasmic, but had decided on the fireworks instead. We figured it would be less of a crowd atfer the fireworks ended and that everyone would make a hasty retreat for the exit. At least, that's what we were hoping for.

"Okay, you stay here and save our seats. I'll be right back." Hannah ushered me over to a curb, directing where to sit.

"Where are you going?"

She grinned mischievously. "You'll see. Just trust me."

"I always do." She planted a kiss on my cheek before walking off, disappearing into the crowd. I sat down on the curb and pulled my knees to my chest, hugging them. It was early Spring, but the weather was still a bit chilly at night.

Around me, parents were getting their kids settled on the curb, trying to maneuver strollers, while the older kids were instructed where to sit. Across the way, an elderly couple sat on the curb, holding hands and snuggling. I grinned. That's gonna be me and Hannah in about twenty-five years.

"I'm back."

I turned around, looking up as she sat down next to me. "That was quick."

"Eh. Not much of a line."

"What's behind your back?"

"Close your eyes." I did as she instructed. "Now...open them!"

When I opened my eyes, I was met with a beautiful bouquet of brightly flashing roses. They were flashing different colors: blue, green, yellow, pink, red and purple. I mentally counted them. "Seven?"

"One for each year we've been together." She reached behind her back, bringing out a second red rose, holding it out to me. "And one for our new life together as wife and wife." She kissed me on the lips. "Happy future anniversaries Beautiful."

I returned the kiss, smiling against her lips. "Happy future anniversaries Babe." We sat there on the curb, lost in each other's eyes, smiling at each other. I could have stayed that way all night.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, please lift your eyes to the skies as Disneyland proudly presents the nighttime fireworks spectacular!

"It's starting!" Hannah jumped up, looking for all the world like a little kid. She extended her hand, pulling me up from the curb as I held tightly to the bouquet of glowing roses. She led us to a spot before letting go of my hand and standing behind me, wrapping her arms around my waist and pulling me close. "Comfy?"

"Very." I leaned into her, readjusting the flowers. And there, standing in the middle of Mainstreet, Hannah and I watched the fireworks. Neither of us made a sound, except for Hannah lightly kissing my cheek, temples, and neck every so often.

It was amazing how, even after seven years together, the slightest touch from her could still make me weak in the knees. I felt my legs tremble slightly, trying to focus on the fireworks. Finally, I put a hand up to stop her. She got the hint, replacing the kisses with gentle rubs up and down my arms.

"So Beautiful," she whispered in my ear. "Is this everything you've ever dreamd of? Am I everything you've ever dreamed of?"

I turned around in her arms, opting to ignore the rest of the fireworks in favor of snuggling against her chest. "All that and more," I breathed. She murmered something into my hair. "What?"

She pulled away slightly, looking down at me. The same mischievous smirk she had had earlier reappeared. "Wanna go back to the hotel room and make our own fireworks?"

I lightly smacked her. "You just have a one track mind don't you?"

"Yes."

I rolled my eyes good-naturedly, but conceded. "If we must." I took her hand, the two of us walking out of the park.

I won't go into the details of how the rest of that night went; that's for Hannah and I to know. But let me just say...

That was the most amazing night of my life. And her holding me in her arms afterwards was a close second. As I was drifitng off, I only had one thought in my head:

This was my forever. I would be with Hannah until the day I died. No thought made me happier.
And that's a wrap! Wow! I started revising this thing back in March! Can't believe I finally finished! Anyway, a big thank you to whoever read (and stuck with) this story. It's been fun, but I'm ready to move on to something else now. I'll probably post a poll in the next few days to see what you guys would like to see from me here, but other than that, enjoy the last chapter and have a great rest of the weekend!

Chapter 36:  Self Discovery: Chapter 36Seven years later...
"Hannah, come on! We're going to be late!" I yelled up the stairs to our room. "I thought you wanted to get there when the park opened?"
She appeared on the upstairs landing and yawned, placing a baseball cap on her head. "Yeah...didn't think I'd sleep that long."
"What? Did I tire you out last night?" I teased.
She finally hit the downstairs landing, wrapping me in a sleepy hug before pullng away. "That was one hell of a wedding night. Not sure I've recovered yet."
"Yeah, well, you know. The wedding and the romance and the..." I coughed awkwardly. "The urge. It all kinda came to a head."
"Yeah." She twirled the gold Claddagh ring on her left hand and I smiled, looking down at the matching ring on my left hand, the tip of the heart pointing towards me. "But you're mine now."
I looked up and smirked at her. "Oh yeah? And what are you gonna do about it?"
"This." She reached behind me, pinching my butt.
"Hannah!"
"What? We're married now. I think I can g

But when a new girl by the name of Hannah shows up at school, she turns Leslie's world upside down. And, with the help of her best friend Darin and his girlfriend Mellifluous, Leslie sets out on a journey of self discovery and realizes that love happens, no matter what the gender.

Chapter 1:  Self Discovery: Chapter 1"Oh, isn't it beautiful? The flowers and the trees are singing to me." She walked over to the tree. "And talking too!"
"Darin, your girlfriend's talking to plants again." I rested my chin in my hand, watching as my best friend tried to pry her off the tree she was hugging.
"Leslie, little help here?"
"Nah. You're doing just fine." He glared at me. "Okay okay. Fine. I'll help you. Geez." I stood up and walked over to the tree, casually leaning against it. "Mel, you do realize trees can't talk or sing right? They're inanimate."
That got her attention. "Inanimate?" She scrunched her face up in concentration. "That's a funny word."
I sighed; his girlfriend was dumber than a brick. Actually, I take that back; a brick was smarter. "It means non-living." Commence with the blank stare. "Trees no talk," I said slowly.
A lightbulb seemed to appear above her head before flickering and then dying out. Okay, not really. But it was fun to imagine it happening.
She glared at me. "Trees do talk
